Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 805 ILCS 10/3.3

  • Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
  • State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14

     “License” includes a license, certificate of registration or any other evidence of the satisfaction of the requirements of this State, or of the United States Patent Office or the Internal Revenue Service of the United States Treasury Department, for the practice of a professional service.
