If an employer is required to file a report with the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission under Section 6 of the Workers’ Compensation Act or Section 6 of the Workers’ Occupational Diseases Act, and the report relates to the work related death, injury, or illness of a minor, the employer shall file a copy of the report with the Department of Labor. The Department may, by rule, require other employers to submit reports of work related deaths, injuries and illnesses of minors to the Department.
