Terms Used In Indiana Code 13-23-9-4

  • Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.
   Sec. 4. If the administrator denies an ELTF claim under this chapter, the claimant may appeal the denial under IC 4-21.5 to the office of environmental adjudication under IC 4-21.5-7.
