- Attorney: includes a counselor or other person authorized to appear and represent a party in an action or special proceeding. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
- consumer: means a person that owns, leases, or rents the residential real property that is the subject of a real property improvement contract. See Indiana Code 24-5-11-2
Sec. 14. A real property improvement supplier who violates this chapter commits a deceptive act that is actionable by the attorney general or by a consumer under IC 24-5-0.5-4 and is subject to the remedies and penalties under IC 24-5-0.5.
