Sec. 3. As used in this chapter, “armed forces of the United States” means the active or reserve components of:
(2) the Navy;
(1) the Army;
(3) the Air Force;
(4) the Coast Guard;
(5) the Marine Corps; or
(6) the Merchant Marine.
