Sec. 18. As used in this article, “person” means:
(2) an estate;
(1) an individual;

- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
(3) a business or nonprofit entity;
(4) a public corporation;
(5) a government or subdivision, agency, or instrumentality of a government; or
(6) another legal entity.
