- Clerk: means the clerk of the court or a person authorized to perform the clerk's duties. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
- Year: means a calendar year, unless otherwise expressed. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
Sec. 2.5. Not later than December 31 of the year immediately preceding a year in which the office of judge of the Monroe circuit court will be on the ballot, the clerk of the circuit court shall file with the election division a list containing the name and seat designation for each judge of the Monroe circuit court.
