Terms Used In Indiana Code 35-52-23-1

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
   Sec. 1. IC 23-0.5-2-9 defines a crime concerning business corporation law, nonprofit corporations, and limited liability companies.
