Sec. 12. A public safety telecommunicator who has successfully completed:

(1) a T-CPR training program approved by the department; and

  • public safety telecommunicator: means an individual who:

  • T-CPR: means telephone cardiopulmonary resuscitation. See Indiana Code 36-8-25-4
(2) any continuing education requirements;

is immune from civil liability for damages arising out of T-CPR instruction provided to a telephone caller, except for acts or omissions constituting gross negligence or willful or wanton misconduct.
