Sec. 14. (a) The governor shall appoint a director who is responsible for administering the department.

     (b) The director serves at the governor’s pleasure.

  • director: refers to the state personnel director appointed under section 14 of this chapter. See Indiana Code 4-15-2.2-7
     (c) The governor shall set the director’s compensation.
