Terms Used In Indiana Code 5-26-3-4
- commission: refers to the integrated public safety commission established under IC 5-26-2-1. See Indiana Code 5-26-1-1
- public safety agency: means a federal, state, or local governmental entity eligible to hold an authorization in a public safety radio service as set forth in Indiana Code 5-26-1-4
- system: refers to the Indiana statewide wireless public safety voice and data communications system. See Indiana Code 5-26-1-5
Sec. 4. The commission shall develop criteria for determining whether a public safety agency or other entity may use the system. The commission may not prohibit a public safety agency from using the public safety agency’s own public safety voice and data communications system.
