Terms Used In Indiana Code > Title 25 > Article 10

  • Agency: refers to the Indiana professional licensing agency under Indiana Code 25-10-1-1
  • Attorney: includes a counselor or other person authorized to appear and represent a party in an action or special proceeding. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
  • Board: means the board of chiropractic examiners under section 1. See Indiana Code 25-10-1-1
  • board: refers to the coroners training board established by section 3 of this chapter. See Indiana Code 4-23-6.5-1
  • Chiropractic: means the diagnosis and analysis of any interference with normal nerve transmission and expression, the procedure preparatory to and complementary to the correction thereof by an adjustment of the articulations of the vertebral column, its immediate articulation, and includes other incidental means of adjustments of the spinal column and the practice of drugless therapeutics. See Indiana Code 25-10-1-1
  • chiropractic management consultant: means any person doing business in Indiana for the purpose of offering consulting services to chiropractors regarding the administration and operation of their practice. See Indiana Code 25-10-2-1
  • Chiropractor: means any person who is qualified under this chapter to practice the science of chiropractic. See Indiana Code 25-10-1-1
  • United States: includes the District of Columbia and the commonwealths, possessions, states in free association with the United States, and the territories. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
  • Year: means a calendar year, unless otherwise expressed. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
