Terms Used In Iowa Code 135.79
- Department: means the Iowa department of public health. See Iowa Code 135.61
- Health care facility: means health care facility as defined in section 135C. See Iowa Code 135.61
- Hospital: means hospital as defined in section 135B. See Iowa Code 135.61
Any hospital or health care facility which fails to file with the department the financial reports required by sections 135.74, 135.75, 135.76, and 135.78 is subject to a civil penalty of not to exceed five hundred dollars for each offense.
