Terms Used In Iowa Code 185C.5
- Board: means the Iowa corn promotion board established by this chapter. See Iowa Code 185C.1
- District: means an official crop reporting district formed by the United States department of agriculture for use on January 1, 2013, and set out in the annual farm census published in that year by the department of agriculture and land stewardship. See Iowa Code 185C.1
Notice of elections for directors of the board in a district shall be given by the board by publication in a newspaper of general circulation in the district and in any other reasonable manner as determined by the board and shall set forth the period of time for voting, voting places, and other information the board deems necessary.
