Terms Used In Iowa Code 479.9
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- Person: means an individual, partnership, firm, corporation, or association. See Iowa Code 462A.2
- Pipeline: means a pipe, pipes, or pipelines used for the transportation or transmission of a solid, liquid, or gaseous substance, except water, within or through this state. See Iowa Code 479.2
Any person, corporation, company, or city whose rights or interests may be affected by a proposed pipeline or lines or gas storage facilities may file written objections to the proposed pipeline or lines or gas storage facilities or to the granting of a permit.
