Terms Used In Iowa Code 518C.19
- Association: means the Iowa county and state mutual insurance guaranty association established pursuant to section 518C. See Iowa Code 518C.3
- Person: means an individual, corporation, partnership, association, or voluntary organization. See Iowa Code 518C.3
- Sale: means any sale, offer for sale, or attempt to sell or lease any land, to the public in this state, for cash or on credit. See Iowa Code 543C.1
A person, in connection with the sale of an insurance policy, shall not advertise or publish that claims under the insurance policy are subject to this chapter or that such claims will be paid by the association.
