Terms Used In Iowa Code 626A.5
- clerk: means clerk of the court in which the action or proceeding is brought or is pending; and the words "clerk's office" mean the office of that clerk. See Iowa Code 4.1
- foreign judgment: means a judgment, decree, or order of a court of the United States or of any other court which is entitled to full faith and credit in this state. See Iowa Code 626A.1
For filing a foreign judgment, the clerk shall collect a fee in the amount collected for filing and docketing a petition under section 602.8105, subsection 1, paragraph “a”.
