Terms Used In Iowa Code 99G.26
- Authority: means the Iowa lottery authority. See Iowa Code 99G.3
- cash: means United States currency. See Iowa Code 99G.30
- Retailer: means a person who sells lottery tickets or shares on behalf of the authority pursuant to a license issued by the authority. See Iowa Code 99G.3
The authority may require any retailer to post an appropriate bond, as determined by the authority, using a cash bond or an insurance company acceptable to the authority.
