Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 12-1681
- city: means a city located within Crawford county. See Kansas Statutes 12-16,116
- Lease: A contract transferring the use of property or occupancy of land, space, structures, or equipment in consideration of a payment (e.g., rent). Source: OCC
- school district: means any school district located in whole or in part within a city of the third class located in two counties; and
(b) "City" means any city of the third class located in two counties. See Kansas Statutes 12-1689
Any city or school district may establish, promote and operate a community historical museum and acquire or lease land, buildings or other facilities and equipment and employ a director and assistants and vote and expend funds for said purposes.
