- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
Kan. Stat. Ann. §§ 17-72a01 through 17-72a09, and amendments thereto, shall be part of and supplemental to the Kansas general corporation code, articles 60 through 74 ofchapter 17 of the Kansas Statutes Annotated, and amendments thereto.
