Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 48-3104

  • Complaint: A written statement by the plaintiff stating the wrongs allegedly committed by the defendant.
  • State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Kansas Statutes 77-201

Any member of the state military forces who believes himself or herself wronged by the member’s commanding officer, and who, upon due application to that commanding officer, is refused redress, may complain to any superior commissioned officer, who shall forward the complaint to the governor or adjutant general.
