Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 59-619

  • Probate: Proving a will
  • State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Kansas Statutes 77-201
  • Testator: A male person who leaves a will at death.

No oral will of a testator who died while a resident of this state shall be admitted to probate unless an application is made therefor within six months after the death of the testator, except as provided by Kan. Stat. Ann. §§ 59-2229 and 59-2230, and amendments thereto.
