Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 60-442
- Judge: means member or members or representative or representatives of a court conducting a trial or hearing at which evidence is introduced. See Kansas Statutes 60-401
- Testify: Answer questions in court.
- Trial: A hearing that takes place when the defendant pleads "not guilty" and witnesses are required to come to court to give evidence.
Against the objection of a party, the judge presiding at the trial may not testify in that trial as a witness.
