Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 65-1719

  • Board: means the state board of mortuary arts. See Kansas Statutes 65-1760
  • Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
  • State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Kansas Statutes 77-201

The secretary of the board shall annually send to the office of the secretary of health and environment a list containing the names, addresses and license numbers of all funeral directors and assistant funeral directors as of July first of that year. A copy of the records of the board, or of any portion thereof, certified by its secretary, shall be deemed lawful evidence in any court of this state.
