Violation of section 304 of the federal act, as adopted by Kan. Stat. Ann. § 65-5707, is a felony punishable by a fine of not more than $25,000 or imprisonment for not more than two years, or both, for the first conviction and a fine of not more than $50,000 or imprisonment for not more than five years, or both, for the second or a subsequent conviction.
