Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 68-168

  • Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.
  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.

Any person, corporation, firm or association violating any of the provisions of Kan. Stat. Ann. § 68-167 shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine of not more than two hundred dollars or by imprisonment for not more than thirty (30) days or by both such fine and imprisonment.
