- Tort: A civil wrong or breach of a duty to another person, as outlined by law. A very common tort is negligent operation of a motor vehicle that results in property damage and personal injury in an automobile accident.
Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, the authority, its officers, directors, employees and agents shall continue to be subject to and covered by the Kansas tort claims act, Kan. Stat. Ann. § 75-6101 et seq., and amendments thereto.
