A court of this state may treat a foreign country as if it were a state for the purpose of applying KRS § 387.810 to KRS § 387.854, but not including KRS § 387.844, 387.846, or 387.848.

Terms Used In Kentucky Statutes 387.814

  • Foreign: when applied to a corporation, partnership, limited partnership, business trust, statutory trust, or limited liability company, includes all those incorporated or formed by authority of any other state. See Kentucky Statutes 446.010
  • State: when applied to a part of the United States, includes territories, outlying possessions, and the District of Columbia. See Kentucky Statutes 446.010
