If a court has issued an order granting caretaking authority under this article, or an agreement granting caretaking authority has been executed under KRS § 403A.201 to
403A.205, the court may enter a temporary order for child support consistent with law of this state other than this chapter if the court has jurisdiction under the Uniform Interstate Family Support Act, KRS § 407.5101 to KRS § 407.5902.

Terms Used In Kentucky Statutes 403A.310
- Caretaking authority: means the right to live with and care for a child on a day-to- day basis. See Kentucky Statutes 403A.102
- Child: means :
(a) An unemancipated individual who has not attained eighteen (18) years of age. See Kentucky Statutes 403A.102 - Court: means a tribunal authorized under law of this state other than this chapter to make, enforce, or modify a decision regarding custodial responsibility. See Kentucky Statutes 403A.102
- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
- State: means a state of the United States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the United States Virgin Islands, or any territory or insular possession subject to the jurisdiction of the United States. See Kentucky Statutes 403A.102
