(1) KRS § 61.710 to KRS § 61.780 apply to Justices and Judges of the Court of Justice, Commonwealth’s attorneys, and all candidates for all those offices. KRS § 61.710 to
61.780 also apply to a person appointed to a vacancy in an unexpired term of any office mentioned above.
(2) KRS § 61.710 to KRS § 61.780 also apply to:
(a) Any employee of a daily newspaper of 50,000 or more circulation published in Kentucky who either orally, or in writing contributes to the editorial policy of the newspaper; and
(b) Any employee of a radio or television station that is owned in common with a newspaper described above who directly or indirectly contributes to the editorial policy of the station.
