Terms Used In Louisiana Revised Statutes 40:2120.37
- Adult: means an individual eighteen years of age or older. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 40:2120.33
- Brain injury: means an acquired or traumatic injury to the brain. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 40:2120.33
- Department: means the Louisiana Department of Health. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 40:2120.33
A. The department, through its duly authorized agents, shall investigate all complaints against any adult brain injury facility as defined in this Part. The department may take such action as is authorized by La. Rev. Stat. 40:2120.38 through 2120.40.
B. The department shall receive, record, and dispose of complaints in accordance with La. Rev. Stat. 40:2009.13 et seq.
