Terms Used In Louisiana Revised Statutes 37:2207
- commissioner: as used in this Chapter , means the commissioner of the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 37:2202
- weather modification: as used in this Chapter , means the changing or controlling by chemical, mechanical, or physical methods the occurrence of lightning or the precipitation of rain, hail, mist, sleet, or snow. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 37:2202
The commissioner shall determine the qualifications and requirements which applicants must meet in order to receive a license to engage in weather modification and shall establish the conditions under which weather modification operations may be carried out.
