Terms Used In Louisiana Revised Statutes 37:834
- Board: means the Louisiana State Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 37:831
- person: includes a body of persons, whether incorporated or not. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 1:10
Any vacancy occurring on the board shall be filled by the governor in the manner provided in La. Rev. Stat. 37:832. If any member appointed to the board does not qualify within the time specified under La. Rev. Stat. 37:836 or if a member of the board dies or resigns, the governor shall appoint another person to fill the vacancy within thirty days after notification from the board.
