Terms Used In Maine Revised Statutes Title 10 Sec. 9096

  • Lease: A contract transferring the use of property or occupancy of land, space, structures, or equipment in consideration of a payment (e.g., rent). Source: OCC
  • Mobile home: means a structure, transportable in one or more sections, which:

  • Mobile home park: means any parcel of land under single or common ownership or control which contains, or is designed, laid out or adapted to accommodate 2 or more mobile homes. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 10 Sec. 9091
  • Tenant: means a mobile home owner who rents a parcel of land in a mobile home park. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 10 Sec. 9091
  • A tenancy or other estate at will or lease in a mobile home park may not be terminated solely for the purpose of making the tenant‘s space in the park available for a person who purchased a mobile home from the owner of the mobile home park or the owner’s agents.
