Terms Used In Maine Revised Statutes Title 22 Sec. 1783

  • Complaint: A written statement by the plaintiff stating the wrongs allegedly committed by the defendant.
  • Department: means the Department of Health and Human Services. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 22 Sec. 1-A
When the Department of Health and Human Services believes a license should be suspended or revoked, it shall file a statement or complaint with the Distict Court Judge, designated in the Maine Administrative Procedure Act, Title 5, chapter 375.
