- Damages: Money paid by defendants to successful plaintiffs in civil cases to compensate the plaintiffs for their injuries.
No person shall be responsible for subsequent damages to another occasioned by an act or omission in compliance with this chapter. [PL 1975, c. 558 (NEW).]
