Sec. 211.

Hearing referees shall be appointed by the director, shall devote their entire time to the duties of their office and shall engage in no other business or professional activity. They shall be attorneys at law licensed to practice in the courts of this state, except for hearing referees who immediately prior to the effective date of this act were acting as such.
