  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories.    Any building, plant or work erected, constructed or carried on in violation of any the provisions of this act is hereby declared to be a nuisance and an action for the abatement of such nuisance may be brought in the name of the people of the state of Michigan, by the attorney general of the state of Michigan, or by any one or more of the property owners within the city or village in which said building, plant, or work is attempted to be placed in violation of this act.
