  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories.    The grounds known and designated as the Hanson Military Reservation may hereafter be used by the state, or any municipal subdivision thereof, for recreational purposes, the establishment of fresh air camps, and such other purposes of a recreational or health giving nature as may be incident thereto: Provided, however, That such use shall at no times interfere with the use of said grounds by the military establishment of the state, and no tubercular or venereal patients shall be permitted to use said grounds: And Provided further, That the quartermaster general shall have control and management of said lands, under the supervision of the state military board as provided by law.
