The following are violations of section 1311 to 1319:
(a) Failure to file any statement, amendment or other material required to be filed pursuant to section 1311 or 1312.
Terms Used In Michigan Laws 500.1318
- Amendment: A proposal to alter the text of a pending bill or other measure by striking out some of it, by inserting new language, or both. Before an amendment becomes part of the measure, thelegislature must agree to it.
- Commissioner: means the director. See Michigan Laws 500.102
- Insurer: means that term as defined in section 106 and includes a nonprofit dental care corporation operating under 1963 PA 125, MCL 550. See Michigan Laws 500.1301
(b) The effectuation or any attempt to effectuate an acquisition of control of, or merger with, a domestic insurer unless the commissioner has given his approval.
