Terms Used In Michigan Laws 550.1841
- Appropriation: The provision of funds, through an annual appropriations act or a permanent law, for federal agencies to make payments out of the Treasury for specified purposes. The formal federal spending process consists of two sequential steps: authorization
- Department: means the department of licensing and regulatory affairs. See Michigan Laws 550.1833
- Fund: means the autism coverage fund created in section 7. See Michigan Laws 550.1833
- program: means the autism coverage reimbursement program created under section 5. See Michigan Laws 550.1833
(1) The department shall not implement the program under this act until the legislature has appropriated sufficient funds to cover the same.
(2) Not more than 1% of the annual appropriation made to the autism coverage fund may be used for the purpose of administering the program authorized under this act.
