Terms Used In Michigan Laws 550.845

  • Claim: means a request for payment for administering, filling, or refilling a drug or for providing a pharmacy service or a medical supply or device to an enrollee. See Michigan Laws 550.815
  • Public law: A public bill or joint resolution that has passed both chambers and been enacted into law. Public laws have general applicability nationwide.
  This act does not apply with respect to a claim that is entirely preempted by federal law, including Medicare Part D or the employee retirement income security act of 1974, Public Law 93-406.
