  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories.    Any funds which the clerk deposits in a bank shall be evidenced by a certificate from the bank cashier except for stocks or securities deposited in a safety deposit box as directed by the court. The certificate shall state that the amount deposited is actually in the bank, is credited to the clerk’s account, and is not mingled with any other account. Stocks or securities deposited in a safety deposit box shall be accounted for as directed by the court.
