Subdivision 1.Establishment.
An account is established in the special revenue fund of the state known as the “state elections campaign account.”
Subd. 2.Separate account.
Terms Used In Minnesota Statutes 10A.30
- Political party: means a major political party or a minor political party. See Minnesota Statutes 10A.01
- state: extends to and includes the District of Columbia and the several territories. See Minnesota Statutes 645.44
- State committee: means the organization that, by virtue of the bylaws of a political party, is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the political party at the state level. See Minnesota Statutes 10A.01

Within the state elections campaign account there must be maintained a separate political party account for the state committee and the candidates of each political party and a general account.
