When an action is brought by virtue of this chapter on the complaint or information of any person having an interest therein, the name of such person shall be joined with the state as plaintiff.
Terms Used In Minnesota Statutes 556.13
- Complaint: A written statement by the plaintiff stating the wrongs allegedly committed by the defendant.
- Person: may extend and be applied to bodies politic and corporate, and to partnerships and other unincorporated associations. See Minnesota Statutes 645.44
- Plaintiff: The person who files the complaint in a civil lawsuit.
- state: extends to and includes the District of Columbia and the several territories. See Minnesota Statutes 645.44
