- State: when applied to any of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories, and the words "United States" includes such district and territories. See Missouri Laws 1.020
As soon as practicable after the laws passed at any session of the general assembly are printed and delivered, the secretary of state shall preserve and make available to the public for inspection the original rolls safely in his or her office.
