  • Joint committee: Committees including membership from both houses of teh legislature. Joint committees are usually established with narrow jurisdictions and normally lack authority to report legislation.
  • State: when applied to any of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories, and the words "United States" includes such district and territories. See Missouri Laws 1.020

The revisor of statutes may sell copies of the laws and resolutions, not required by this chapter to be distributed without charge, at actual cost of printing and binding, as determined by the joint committee on legislative research, plus the cost of delivery, and the money received therefor shall be paid to the director of revenue and deposited in the state treasury to the credit of the statutory revision fund.
