1. All personal and real property bequeathed or devised to the state of Missouri for the benefit of the Doctor Edmund A. Babler Memorial State Park under the will of Jacob L. Babler and all other personal and real property acquired through any grant, gift, donation, devise, or bequest to or for the use of the state of Missouri for such purpose shall be a permanent endowment fund to be used solely for the maintenance, beautification and further development or enlargement of the Doctor Edmund A. Babler Memorial State Park in St. Louis County as provided in section 253.350.

2. All real property and interests in land acquired as provided in this section shall be taken in the name of the Missouri department of natural resources. The department of natural resources shall have the power to convey such lands or interests therein and the proceeds of such sale shall be deposited to the credit of the fund established in section 253.360.

  • State: when applied to any of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories, and the words "United States" includes such district and territories. See Missouri Laws 1.020
