  • Association: any corporation organized under this chapter. See Missouri Laws 274.020
  • Fiscal year: The fiscal year is the accounting period for the government. For the federal government, this begins on October 1 and ends on September 30. The fiscal year is designated by the calendar year in which it ends; for example, fiscal year 2006 begins on October 1, 2005 and ends on September 30, 2006.
  • Liabilities: The aggregate of all debts and other legal obligations of a particular person or legal entity.
  • State: when applied to any of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories, and the words "United States" includes such district and territories. See Missouri Laws 1.020

Each association formed under this chapter shall prepare and make out an annual report on forms, to be furnished by the state director of agriculture, containing the name of the association; its principal place of business; and a general statement of its business operations during the fiscal year, the number of members and amount of membership fees received, the total expenses of operations; the amount of its indebtedness or liabilities, and its balance sheets, and file one copy thereof in office of the secretary of state.
