Terms Used In Missouri Laws 330.090

  • Affidavit: A written statement of facts confirmed by the oath of the party making it, before a notary or officer having authority to administer oaths.
  • board: whenever used in this chapter means the state board of podiatric medicine. See Missouri Laws 330.010
  • Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
  • hereafter: means the time after the statute containing it takes effect. See Missouri Laws 1.020
  • person: may extend and be applied to bodies politic and corporate, and to partnerships and other unincorporated associations. See Missouri Laws 1.020
  • State: when applied to any of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories, and the words "United States" includes such district and territories. See Missouri Laws 1.020

Any person licensed to practice podiatric medicine in this state who has retired or may hereafter retire from such practice shall not be required to register as required by this chapter, provided such person shall file with the board an affidavit which states the date on which the person retired from the practice of podiatric medicine and such other facts as shall tend to verify the person’s retirement as the board deems necessary; provided, however, that if such person thereafter reengage in the practice of podiatric medicine, the person shall reapply with the board as provided by section 330.030. The retired applicant shall and will be required to submit evidence of satisfactory completion of the applicable continuing education requirements as well as submitting the licensing, processing, and administration fees established by the board.
